From Vision to Reality:

Dr. Javed Bangash was traveling to Kohat in early 2002. After speaking with the members of the community, he quickly recognized how many people were in need of healthcare. He recognized that the major limiting factors were lack of access and that many people were of limited means. Through his commitment, organization, partnerships, he was able to establish a health center on March 15, 2002. His vision was to improve the community’s access to health care, provide education and resources to those in need. People from the local community and surrounding communities have come to recognize Behzadi Health Center as a prominent facility that has been providing health care services for more than 20 years.
